▶ RULES

01 ▶ All players must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

02 ▶ Play with dicks, don't be one. Absolutely no harassment of any kind will be tolerated.

03 ▶ We reserve the right to ban anyone we believe to be harmful to the community.

04 ▶ Please try to communicate with each other before bringing issues to the mods! Communication is the key to success. I think Gandhi said that.

05 ▶ Please be as IC as possible with your characters in the game. We won't be breathing down your neck about this, but if it becomes a concern of the community, we'll step in. Keep headcanon to a minimum.

06 ▶ No godmodding or infomodding. Please discuss important things with the other players first if you are uncertain.

07 ▶ Don’t cross the OOC - IC line. Keep your OOCs and ICs separate like laundry.

08 ▶ You're allowed to break the fourth-wall to your heart's desire if it's IC for your character, but please respect other players’ boundaries and ask them first before you shatter theirs.

09 ▶ Please make sure all players are on the same page with regards to sensitive content being brought up in threads. Don't spring sexual content on people.

10 ▶ Please adhere to the monthly AC requirement. We understand juggling life and hobbies is hard, so don't forget to go on hiatus when you need to. However, please be mindful of how often you hiatus. No one likes an absentee!

11 ▶ Use character tags when posting in the network comm or log comm. This will make it easier for everyone (even you!) to find your logs, threads, etc.

12 ▶ Keep playercesting to a minimum. You can app two characters from the same canon if they are not related or banging one another other, but try to focus on playing with other people.

13 ▶ Lock all sexual and other questionable content. Please apply appropriate warnings where applicable so no one ends up being that Troy with the pizza boxes gif every time they click on a log. (You. I see you. I know you like reading other people's porn.)

14 ▶ Follow the rules. This game will run on a three strike system; after three infractions, we will administer a Monty Python-level of sacking and remove you from the friendly community of lewders. We may also issue warnings; please note that warnings are NOT strikes.

15 ▶ Writing sexual content with characters below 15 years old is a violation of the game's rules and potentially Dreamwidth's Terms of Service. Players caught doing this will be immediately banned from the game.

In previous correspondences with Denise over this issue, we have been given advice that this kind of content is skating on what is acceptable by Dreamwidth guidelines, particularly with regards to the COPPA statement on Dreamwidth's Privacy Policy and recent changes regarding the US Communications Decency Act. We are not legally trained in any way, but as a mod team this is how we have interpreted what we have been advised and have laid these rules out accordingly.
